Overview
planet.X builds software, creative tools, websites, and connected integrations. This policy explains the information we may process when you use planet.X websites, applications, services, or integrations, including services that connect to third-party platforms such as Pinterest.
Information we collect
Depending on the product or feature you use, we may process information you provide directly, basic account or profile information you authorize a connected service to share, content and identifiers needed to provide a requested integration, and privacy-conscious usage or analytics data such as page views, feature interactions, device or platform category, timestamps, and anonymous session identifiers.
Connected services and Pinterest
When you choose to connect a third-party account, planet.X only requests permissions needed for the features you use. For Pinterest integrations, these features may include reading your authorized account, Pins and Boards, retrieving analytics and reporting data, and creating or scheduling Pins or Boards when you explicitly use those features and the granted permissions allow it. We do not ask you to provide your Pinterest password. Authorization is handled through Pinterest's approved authentication mechanisms.
How we use information
We use information to operate requested features, connect authorized services, publish or schedule content at your direction, provide analytics and reporting, maintain product functionality and security, troubleshoot problems, and improve planet.X products. We do not sell personal information.
Data sharing
We may transmit information to service providers or platforms when necessary to provide a feature you request, such as hosting, database, analytics, publishing, or platform API services. We do not disclose personal information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Data retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the relevant service, meet legitimate operational or legal requirements, and maintain security. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Access tokens and other authentication credentials are treated as sensitive credentials and are not intended to be exposed publicly.
Your choices
You may disconnect third-party integrations through the relevant platform or planet.X feature when available. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with a planet.X service, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
Children
planet.X services that are not specifically designed and presented for children are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Individual planet.X products may provide additional privacy information where their audience or functionality requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products, integrations, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
